Summer ACS SEED Program

Here are the pictures from the poster presentation of 2009 American Chemical Society (ACS) SEED program. The mentors for the program are: Drs. Carty, Doctor, Fan and Oki.

The Department of Chemistry is very grateful for the financial support from ACS SEED program and Shell Co ($5,000), and guidance from Ms. Carolyn Burnley from Shell.

Project Seed is a program sponsored by the American Chemical Society that offers hands on research projects with stipends to economically disadvantaged students during the summer at various industries and universities.  The institutes also offer professional mentorship throughout the summer.
