Mount Corinth Celebrates Black History Month with Dynamic Speakers

Mt. Corinth Missionary Baptist Church in “Heavenly” Hempstead, TX will celebrate Black History Month every Sunday in February at 11:00 AM. Mrs. Lois Brown a retired school teacher will begin the celebration February 2 with an insightful talk about the Negro National Anthem. She will be followed by three dynamic speakers from the University. Our own Dr. George C. Wright will speak February 9, Mayor Frank Jackson will speak February 16, and Dr. Tamara Brown will conclude the celebration February 23. Come hear these illustrious individuals.
