Minorities in Agriculture Natural Resources and Related Sciences (MANRRS)
To promote and implement initiatives which foster inclusion and advancement of members of ethnic/cultural groups underrepresented in agricultural and natural resource sciences and related fields in all phases of career preparation and participation in these areas. Also to develop leadership and professional skills and scholarly excellence among the chapter’s student and professional members who are in the early stages of their careers shall be among the chapter’s highest priorities and to promote and offer opportunities for participation in an active mutual support network to all of its members.

Student Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (SAND)
Student Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics organization aims to increase the awareness of students within the PVAMU and larger society to the importance of nutrition and healthy eating for healthier lifestyles and communities. Nutrition activities and events aim to provide nutrition students at the Prairie View A&M University with professional skills needed to pursue a career in the nutrition related field.
The Pre-Vet Club
Pre-Veterinary Medicine Club is an organization that prepares, guides, and helps students gain acceptance into veterinary schools. We aim to give students hands on experience, as well as providing them basic knowledge of Pre-Vet curriculum.

Kappa Omicron Nu (National Home Economics Honor Society)
Kappa Omicron Nu National Honor Society for the Human Sciences (KON) promotes empowered leaders who use an integrative approach to enhance quality of living through excellence in scholarship, leadership, and research. Kappa Omicron Nu has 98 active chapters at colleges and universities in the United States.

PVAMU Livestock Show Team
The purpose of this club is to educate students on different aspects of livestock showing and handling. Also to promote animal husbandry skills. Students work hands on with some of Prairie View’s livestock and participate in showing them at Fort Worth, San Antonio and Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. There are also multiple seminars throughout the semester for both the students and the public to further the knowledge of overall livestock management. The club also works hand and hand with the Prairie View community and on campus.
The CAHS Student Ambassadors Program
The mission of the Student Leadership Apprentice Program is to impart the knowledge of seasoned leaders and experts to undergraduate college students at land-grant institutions while preparing them to become game changers and agricultural leaders of tomorrow. The Student Leadership Apprentice Program (S.L.A.P.) is built on the foundation of the one college concept that unifies teaching, research and outreach.
