An Agricultural Engineer by training, Dr. Risch has over the past 10 years been a member of a team of scientists working on, inter alia, Establishing an Environmental-based GIS Laboratory; Modeling and Rheological Characterization of Goat Meat and Milk products; Developing a knowledge-based Expert System for Sheep and Goat Production; Developing a decision Support System for Meat Goat Production; Determining Sensory, Chemical and Textural Characteristics of Goat-based Sausages – A Comparison of Instrumental and Sensory Evaluations.
