April 15 – The work that Prairie View A&M University does reaches far beyond its campus with thanks in part to the Cooperative Extension Program (CEP). A recent local television appearance by CEP Family and Community Health Agent for Webb County Ashley Gastineau highlighted the Read for Life program which helps inform Laredo, Texas residents how to live healthy.

During Gastineau’s feature segment on KGNS News, she shared the importance of the Read For Life campaign which promotes wellness, nutrition, and overall healthy living by reading particular wellness books.
