February 11 – It’s that time of year again when 4-Hers get excited about robotics and prepare to compete as seen in a previous year’s competition. The Prairie View A&M University’s Cooperative Extension 4-H and Youth Development program is focused on cultivating skills in youth to develop them not only educationally, but physically, socially and otherwise. One of the ways they promote learning is through hands-on projects for the students to be actively engaged while socializing with peers from all over.
The 4-H Agribotics program is a great opportunity for 4-H students to learn about innovation and technology while having a good time learning 21st Century and employable skills. PVAMU’s Cooperative Extension 4-H and Youth Development program focuses on cultivating skills in youths to help them develop educationally, physically, socially and otherwise. One of the ways they promote learning is through hands-on projects that actively keep students engaged while socializing with peers. The skills, such as learning to work collaboratively, using creativity, and task accountability all learned throughout participation in robotics are vital to young people as they prepare to tackle emerging issues especially for agricultural learning.
