Morgan-Bloom Completes Certificate Program and Is Featured Speaker
Faculty member Dr. Doris Morgan-Bloom completed a Certificate Program in “Supervisory Essentials” at Texas A&M University over the course of several months. She was recognized at a ceremony in College Station on Tuesday, September 5, 2017. Dr. Morgan-Bloom was also invited by the Black Faculty and Staff Association at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa as a Featured Scholar to speak on the topic “Investigating Parental Perceptions, Attitudes and Beliefs about Healthy Lifestyles and their Impact on Childhood Obesity among Minority Families in Rural Texas” on September 21.
