Ag Field Day newlogoPrairie View A&M University’s College of Agriculture and Human Sciences (CAHS) annual Agricultural Field Day will be held Friday, April 28th and Saturday, April 29th on the main campus of Prairie View A&M University.

The Ag Field Day (as it is commonly known) tagline “Educating, Innovating and Cultivating through Teaching, Research and Service” surmises that Ag Field Day is a CAHS-wide event, showcasing agriculture education, cooperative agriculture research and cooperative extension, the tree tenants of the College of Agriculture and Human Sciences.  To this end, our panel of experts will share tips on how to run a successful Agriculture operation and our research scientists will share best practices in agriculture as we extend this service to the community.  Workshop topics will cover livestock and forage, small ruminant, horticulture and home and commercial vegetable production.

Ag Field Day promises to be educational, inspirational and motivational.  Farmers, ranchers and all agriculture enthusiasts are encouraged to attend.  To register or for more information, visit www.pvamu.edu/AgFieldDay  or call (936) 261-2467. For planning purposes, pre-registration is requested.  Persons requiring special assistance are asked to call (936) 261-3583, in advance.  Ag Field Day is supported, in part, by Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (SARE) and the USDA.
