Cooperative Agriculture Research Center (CARC) Research Scientist Ripendra Awal shared advances in drone technology for agriculture use with about 80 fourth and fifth graders of Landrum Elementary, in San Benito, TX, on October 5. Participating in National Youth Science Day celebration, Awal lectured on drone use and their importance. Awal’s presentation was covered by the Valley Morning Star newspaper.
