Art of the Rural is a collaborative organization with a mission of building the field of the rural arts, create new narratives on rural culture and community, and contribute to the emerging rural arts and culture movement. Dr. William Turner, Research Scientist Leader, Social Systems and Allied Research in the Cooperative Agricultural Research Center, has been named as a national advisory board member. In his role he will work to elevate the rural arts field through rural-urban dialogue and cross-sector exchange.
