GMAT and GRE Test Information

Although students may be admitted to one of the degree programs in graduate programs in business (MBA or MSA) without taking the GMAT or GRE, all students must submit valid test scores for admission to candidacy.

Admission to candidacy will be granted to a degree status student who has completed at least 12 semester hours of graduate credit with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or more. The student must submit an Application for Admission to Candidacy form.

The College of Business understands that a number of students may find this requirement burdensome due to financial constraints and is providing a limited number of GMAT fee waivers to currently enrolled students in one of the graduate programs in business.

Applications for the 2017-2018 PVAMU GMAT Fee Waiver Program will be available after April 1.

Students who prefer to take the GRE can find information about the GRE Fee Reduction Program on their website.
