Forty-three business majors were invited to join Beta Gamma Sigma. Membership in BGS is the highest recognition a business student anywhere in the world can receive in an undergraduate, master’s or doctoral program at a school accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International). In order to be eligible for an invitation for membership PVAMU business students must be last-semester juniors and rank in the upper 10 percent of their class; ranked in the upper 10 percent of the senior class; or ranked in the upper 20 percent of master’s classes. The induction ceremony for new members is at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, November 13 on the main PVAMU campus in the Willie A. Tempton, Sr. Memorial Student Center Ballroom. Family and friends of the inductees are welcome to attend.
