PVAMU SBDC Adds New Staff

Prairie View A&M University Small Business Development Center Director Bridget Ross is not only helping small businesses increase their staff in the Waller and Grimes Counties, she is also rapidly increasing the staff at the SBDC to serve clients.  Two new staff members have joined Ms. Ross.

Surrenda Jones, Program Associate for PVAMU SBDC, brings more than 12 years of business and entrepreneurial experience in the areas of IT and Healthcare. Her experience includes product launch & development, contract negotiations with organizations such as En-Touch System, AT&T and T-Mobile. She has received Employment of the Year and Customer Focus Awareness awards because of her customer relations skills. Ms. Jones has a wealth of knowledge in the area of marketing, strategic planning and project management.

Michael T. Thomas’ drive, passion, and analytical mind make him ideally suited for the position of  PVAMU-SBDC Community Outreach Coordinator. He provides assistance with brand development, social media marketing, graphic design, and market research. Profoundly driven and a perfectionist by nature, Michael is committed to serving his clients, colleagues, and community. He especially enjoys preparing marketing plans for individuals who are starting businesses, and helping teens plan for success in college. His continued leadership promises to drive successful programs and projects for the PVAMU SBDC.
