The Queen’s House of Blues, R&B, and a little splash of Country
(Monday – Friday, 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM)
Michelle DeSelle is a twenty year public speaker, a journalist, and on-air personality. A native Houstonian and one of the most positive and upbeat people you will ever meet. Her love for radio started when she was a young girl growing up in a small, East Texas town. She was one of the lead singers in the choir at the small church she attended and the Sunday services were broadcast on the local radio station. When she heard herself for the first time on the air, she was hooked and vowed to pursue her passion someday. It was in this small town where she was groomed for public speaking by teachers who loved the sound of her deep throaty voice and would give her various books to read aloud in class and poetry to recite. Ms. Truie Smith at her elementary school told her “DeSelle reading and writing go hand in hand.”
As a result of her early experiences, she developed a love for all forms of communications and later obtained her degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Communications from Texas Southern University. Being passionate about all music, DeSelle is proficient in all genres of music and has the ability to play them with great skill and knowledge. The Queen’s House–a royal treat for your evenings.
