Academic Technology (AT) represents PVAMU’s commitment to support academic and research technology requirements and growth. We focus on the support of instruction and research services, eLearning instructional design and technology, classroom technology, academic multimedia, and learning spaces. If you are working with AT, you may contact our staff directly, or, if you are experiencing a problem with any of our services, please contact the Academic Technology Services by email at academictechnology@pvamu.edu or the ITS Service Desk at ITS Office at 936-261-9300 to receive immediate attention or direction. Incidents requiring AT technical help will be escalated to our staff.

Our office has a concentrated vision to have all classrooms equipped with interactive technology. There are three campuses in the Prairie View A&M System: Main Campus, Northwest Campus, and Nursing. Each classroom will ideally be equipped with a height adjustable podium, a document camera, a projector, and a dedicated computer system. Our vision is to equip our students with the skills and technologies needed to teach, research, and impact our society. With technology in our classrooms, students are afforded the opportunity to integrate with the evolving technologies needed to remain relevant in any professional environment.
