Dr. Sesha Kethineni, a faculty member in the Department of Justice Studies, attended the European Society of Criminology Conference in Sarajevo, Bosnia, and Herzegovina under the title Crimes against Humans and Crimes against Humanity: Challenges for Modern Criminology. She and her co-authors presented a paper on the Protection of Children from Sexual Abuse Act, passed by the Indian government in 2012. More than 1300 participants attended the conference August 29-September 1.
