Johnson's ExhibitionsAnn Johnson, Assistant Professor of Practice in Prairie View A&M University’s School of Architecture, is featured in two new exhibitions in Houston this summer. Summer Union at the Union Gallery in Midtown stars Johnson, as well as other local artists Robert Hodge, Cande Aguilar, Raul Gonzales, Linda Kelly, and Felipe Contreras. Johnson is showing a rare Footworx painting of President Obama, as well as a collection of her experimental printmaking works. The exhibition runs through August 18. Johnson is also featured in the annual Impressions exhibition at Houston Community College Southwest. The exhibit features the work of artists in the PrintMatters printmaking organization where Johnson serves as a founding member and board member emeritus.
