Pamela Brandy-Webb, MSN, RN, a clinical assistant professor in Prairie View A&M University’s College of Nursing, published Chapter 48 in “Maternal & Child Health Nursing, 8th Edition,” called Nursing Care of a Family When a Child Has an Endocrine or a Metabolic Disorder.
“Chapter 48 describes both physical and psychosocial changes that occur when children develop an endocrine disorder or a metabolic disorder. This is significant information as it pertains to building a base for care and health teaching,” said Brandy-Webb.
